PRAIRIE PRIDE'S UNIT TRANSFER BULLETIN BOARD ...

Prairie Pride announces establishment of the Unit Transfer Policy.  The Unit Transfer Policy of October 17, 2007 is now in full effect.  Because we operate on a cooperative basis, all members must:

1.  Qualify as Producers-at-risk

2.  Members must sign the Uniform Marketing Agreement and be willing to deliever soybeans either by on-site delivery or through PPI's pooling program.  In the case of all delivery unit transfers, the owner on record as of September 30 of a fiscal year will be allocated 100% of the taxable patronage income for that fiscal year, and will receive all of the cash portion of any patronage dividend declared by the Board for that fiscal year.  All non-cash patronage dividends stay with the transferred delivery units under the "bundling" provisions of our bylaws.

You should carefully read and review the following information in each of the links below, beginning with the Unit Transfer Policy.  Each of the links will open a PDF document.  Depending on the kind of change you require some or all of the documents will need to be printed.

Interested sellers and buyers may print out the "Bulletin Board Posting Request" form and return it to PPI  via the means of your choice for the information to be posted right here on this web page.  As Bulletin Board listings are requested they will be added at the bottom of this page, below the document links.   Persons who list their interest on the bulletin board are not bound to buy or sell the Units listed or the number of Units listed or at the listed price.  The bulletin board is for listing an interest only, and is not a list of binding offers to buy or sell Units.

Disclaimer:Selling your Units on terms that are acceptable to you is your responsibility, not the Company’s responsibility. You as member are responsible for negotiating the terms and price of the sale. Because our Units are not listed on a stock exchange, where efficient price discovery between buyers and sellers acting on current, real-time information in volume transactions is generally achieved, it is INCUMBENT upon you as the current owner of the Units to determine their fair market value before you agree to sell them to a buyer. Determination of fair value is the sole responsibility of the seller. The Company is not responsible for determining the fairness or adequacy of the purchase price of your Units. We cannot advise you on the fairness or adequacy of any proposed purchase price per Unit. We cannot advise you on whether you should buy or sell or at what price. That is your responsibility.

We urge each member who is considering buying or selling Units to seek financial, tax and other professional advice to assist you in evaluating your investment in the Units and to assist you in determining the value of the Units you own. Ultimately, the value of a Unit will be determined by what a willing buyer and a willing seller agree upon. However, since our Units are not traded on an active exchange, there will be a much smaller number of sale transactions upon which to base a buy or sell decision. We caution you to consider carefully the information on the Company that is available to you, and we urge you to seek professional assistance from your accountant, attorney, financial advisor or other advisor when considering selling or buying Units.

The fact that we approve transfers of Units does not reflect any endorsement or recommendation of the Board or the Company as to the purchase price of the transactions or the adequacy or fairness of those purchase prices.

Posting of an interest to buy or sell does not represent a firm offer to sell or offer to purchase.  The information set forth on the Bulletin Board does not consist of firm quotes, but rather is merely a list of the names, addresses and telephone numbers.  Neither Prairie Pride, Inc. nor the Bulletin Board is an "exchange," a "broker," a "dealer" or an "investment adviser".

Current Sell Offers
